The Idea begins

Once upon a time....

No Krap!The idea didn't begin like that.

Basically my wackey friend, Anton has for a while, had a bee in his bonnet to climb Everest. I've known about this and have managed to avoid the subject out of fear of being dragged into his big plan. Well in March 2010 while we were climbing Lions Head in Cape Town, he convince me to do it and now I'm in.
The Plan is to climb Aconcagua (6,962 m (22,841 ft)) in Jan 2011 and Cho Oyu (8201 metres (26,906 ft)) in May 2011 and if all goes well to pursue Everest(8,848 metres (29,029 ft)) in May 2012.

My daughter,(The Boss) Tash, is ok with the idea but is getting very concerned about her inheritance dwindling and rightfully so. These expeditions cost a fortune. Everest will require sponsorship or there wont be any inhertance for a long time.

Time to start training again.
Out with the old tyre and dragging it around the soft sand in the Tokai forest and long hikes with a heavy back pack.
